Adriana-Monica Popa is a member of the Corporate M&A team at D&B David şi Baias, since 2018. She graduated the Faculty of Law at the University of Bucharest and also pursued a Master’s degree in Business Law from the same institution.

Since joining D&B David şi Baias in 2018, Adriana has developed a strong proficiency in handling complex M&A transactions, as well as intricate reorganization processes, including mergers, cross-border mergers, and spin-offs.

Her expertise encompasses a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, and she has a keen interest also in employment law, further enriching her practice. Recently, Adriana has also been exploring the intersection of law and technology, focusing on how technological innovations can enhance the delivery of legal services.

Ana Maria Vasile graduated the Faculty of Law from Romanian American University and the Faculty of Theoretical and Applied Economics from Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. Ana holds also a Master degree in Tax Law within the Faculty of Law from University of Bucharest.

Ana has been member of the Bucharest Bar since May 2011. Ana joined the D&B litigation team in October 2017, her core competences being tax and administrative law litigation, commercial and civil law litigation, and insolvency procedures.

Anca is a Bachelor of Law of the University Nicolae Titulescu and has been a member of the Prahova Bar since 2008.

Before joining the D&B Energy and Natural Resources team, Anca held the position of Expert Legal Adviser in one of the largest oil and gas companies in Romania, where she coordinated the activity of refining and production of petroleum products, distribution petroleum products, energy production from renewable sources, energy trading, oil and gas, corporate governance, litigation within the company.

Anca provided legal advice in the field of oil and gas, in the current activity and in acquisition projects, transactions and local and international projects. Anca has coordinated large-scale projects, including but not limited to the analysis and change of the business model within the refinery, the implementation of international sanctions, merger projects regarding renewable energy, obtaining licenses. As a member of the Legal Department of a renowned company in the oil and gas sector in Romania, Anca was included in the GC Powerlist CEE Teams 2018.

Andreea Stoica graduated the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest and holds a Master degree in business law. Since 2015 she has been a member of the Bucharest Bar.

Andreea joined the D&B litigation team in November 2015 and her areas of expertise include civil, commercial and tax law.

Andreea Toncu is a Bachelor of Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest and has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2018.

Andreea started her career as a junior lawyer at D&B David si Baias in October 2018, as part of the Competition team, and is familiar with industries such as oil and gas, pharma, industrial goods, hospitality and leisure etc.

As a lawyer, Andreea was involved in various projects related to competition matters, assisting clients during investigations of the Competition Council (dawn raids, forensic IT procedures etc.), as well as during merger control and foreign direct investment screening procedures, as well as in compliance projects (competition compliance guidelines and trainings, review of commercial policies etc.).

Camelia-Manuela Niţă joined the Litigation team at D&B David and Baias in October 2018, and her area of expertise includes tax law.

She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Bucharest and holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the same institution. She has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since October 2018.

Corina Celmare is a graduate of the Faculty of Law with the University of Bucharest and holds a master degree in labor law, labor and industrial relations granted by the same university. Also, Corina has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2016.

Corina joined the Corporate M&A team of D&B David si Baias in October 2022. Corina’s domains of expertise include, among others, commercial law, mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property law.

Dan Fînaru is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest. Dan has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2016. He also holds a Master’s degree in Private Law from the same faculty. Dan joined the Litigation department of D&B David si Baias as of June 2023. His areas of expertise cover intellectual property law, administrative and tax litigation, insolvency, civil, civil enforcement, commercial, contravention and criminal, being involved in a variety of litigation.

He also assisted and represented national and international clients active in all the fields related to his competence, both in commercial transactions and in disputes before all the national courts. His particular experience in the field of pre-litigation strategy and as well as assisting the clients before, during and after litigations, has enabled him to offer legal advice of the highest level. Moreover, he was involved in complex litigations characterized by a high level of technicality before all national courts, aiming to protect all legal rights of the clients assisted.

Gabriela Ifrim is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest and has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since November 2018. She also holds a Master`s degree in Criminal Law, University of Bucharest.

Gabriela joined the Competition team of D&B David si Baias in November 2018. Her areas of expertise include competition law, intellectual property law, commercial law and public procurement.

Iuliana is member of the Bucharest Bar since 2017, becoming part of our team since March 2020. Iuliana graduated the Faculty of Law of Bucharest University, later attending the Master of Tax Law courses at the same faculty.

From the beginning of her career, she was part of both corporate and litigation projects, later representing clients mainly in areas such as labor disputes, commercial, administrative and fiscal litigation, real estate and insolvency. Currently, Iuliana is specialized in tax and administrative litigation, as well as in customs law disputes.

Marius Barbu is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest and has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since October 2018.

Marius is specialised in employment law consultancy and labor disputes and joined the employment team of D&B David si Baias in December 2023.
Marius has experience in assisting employers in various matters related to labor and employment law, such as due diligence processes, TUPE transactions, collective negotiations, disciplinary investigations and restructuring processes.

Mihaela Cristina Ragea is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University – Iaşi and she holds a Master Degree in Criminal Law from the same University.

Mihaela has been a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since November 2013. During her career, she was part of litigation projects, representing clients mainly in areas such as civil and commercial, administrative and fiscal litigation and insolvency procedure.

Mihaela joined the D&B litigation team in May 2021, her core competences being tax and administrative law litigation.

Valentina Bogrea graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Bucharest in 2019 and has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since the same year. In 2020, she completed a Master’s program in Public International Law at the same institution.

Valentina joined the tax and administrative litigation team in February 2022, where she has gained extensive experience as a tax lawyer. She has successfully assisted clients in navigating highly complex cases involving tax law, customs duties, and environmental levies. Her work has involved providing strategic legal advice, representing clients in contentious matters, and ensuring compliance with intricate regulatory frameworks. Through these experiences, Valentina has developed a deep understanding of the multifaceted challenges faced by businesses in these specialized areas of law.
