  • Flavius Baias

    Flavius Baias graduated Law Faculty of the University of Bucharest and holds a Ph.D. from the same University. He is a founding partner of D&B David si Baias. He has considerable experience in Real Estate and Litigation, as well as an arbitrator. Mr. Baias was the dean of the Law Faculty, University of Bucharest. Currently, Flavius is an external collaborator of D&B David si Baias.

    As a law professor at the Law Faculty, he teaches the classes on “Real Rights” and “Obligations”. Flavius Baias is an arbitrator, member of the Commercial International Arbitration Court affiliated to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania.

    As a former Secretary of State in the Ministry of Justice, he drafted key regulations essential to the Real Estate area (e.g. Law on public property and Law on the concession contract). He was also a member of the drafting committee of the New Civil Code. Flavius was awarded the Romanian Academy prize for his work ‘Simulation – Analysis of Scholars Opinions and Jurisprudence’.
