Concepts as franchises, promotions, price discounts are to be carefully considered and analysed.<\/p>\n<p>Manuela`s presentation, &#8220;Price negotiation at the liberty of supplier and trader &#8211; Limits and risks&#8221;, brought to the public`s attention the conclusions of the 2009 investigation launched by the Competition Council in Romania. The investigation targeted the food industry and was initiated following the suspicion of possible anticompetitive agreements between five retailers and their suppliers.<\/p>\n<p>Considered as being the event of the year for the industry, the conference brought together top providers in the retail and consumer goods industry and leading national and international
