Mihail Boian is a Partner within D&B David \u015fi Baias\u2019s Litigation team. He is a graduate of Law School of the University of Bucharest and has been a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 2009. His expertise covers taxation, public and civil law matters.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mihail is developing a high profile in tax litigation area and has special expertise in tax planning, negotiating with the relevant tax authorities and representing clients in court on tax related matters. Mihail has extensive experience advising domestic and international clients in various taxation fields such as income tax, VAT, calculation and payment of excise duties, local taxes, social securities, withholding taxes and transfer pricing matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, he has been involved, in particular, in complex cases related to transfer pricing that have involved assistance before the courts and also before the tax authorities in the amicable procedures carried out in order to eliminate double taxation under the double taxation treaties and the Arbitration Convention. Mihail was actively involved in the business environment efforts with the public authorities related to the elaboration of the procedural-fiscal legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has also advised Romanian and foreign companies on other public, civil and commercial matters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
